As a leading manufacturer of premium carbide cutting tool blanks and wear parts, GEHM is the tool blanks and wear parts division of XTC Group. Founded in 1958, XTC is the world largest supplier of tungstate, with around 30% of the market globally. The group was originally set up as a joint venture with Sandvik Hard Metals, of Sweden and the Sumitomo Group, of Japan.

There are six carbide units for different product range in our group. GEHM has two production units with more than 500 staff, Unit V for cutting tool blanks and Unit VI for wear parts. With in-house manufactured ready-to-press powder and 100% original material, Unit V focus on developing and producing sintered blanks for cutting tools of even the most challenging turning, milling, drilling, threading, facing, cut-off, and grooving. Annually insert blanks capacity reach 30 million pieces. Unit VI highly specializes in various wear parts, such as nozzle, wear tile, wire drawing die, etc. Most GEHM’s products are applied to the fields of aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, mining and woodworking.
